There are 600,000 people now living below the poverty line in Ireland in 2021 and that figure included over 200,000 children. Social Justice Ireland have put forward a number of proposals to the Government to alleviate the situation,

Sean Healy of Social Justice Ireland says there is no reason whatsoever that anyone should be living in poverty in a rich country like Ireland.
