Thousands of adult learners face financial barriers to education says AONTAS, the National Adult Learning Organisation. They have just launched a Pre-Budget Submission, entitled ‘Investment Where It Matters Most’, calling on Government to make adult learning a priority in Budget 2027. The submission sets out five practical, costed recommendations to strengthen Further Education and Training, and community education, removing barriers to learning to ensure no learner is left behind. Adrianne spoke to Conor Thompson from AONTAS, to discuss their submission and what they would like to see in Budget 2027.
