Alzheimer Society of Ireland – The Ability Show 16/04/26
A recent briefing hosted by the All Party Oireachtas Group on Dementia (APOGD) has exposed the hidden reality faced by More than 4,500 people in Ireland under the of 65 who have been diagnosed with young-onset dementia. The Alzheimer Society of Ireland is the leading dementia- specific service provider in Ireland, and one of the speakers at this briefing on young- onset dementia was ASI Advocacy Manager, Philippe Carr, who joined Adrianne to discuss this early or young onset dementia, the supports the ASI offer and what the changes they are looking for in this area from the government and other policy makers.
