Good Morning Roscommon with Seamus Duke 23/03/22

The Roscommon Town Easter Parade is back this year after a two year absence and on Sunday April 17th it will be the biggest parade ever. Special guests on the day will be the Garda Band as the Garda Siochana celebrate their 100th birthday and there will be a special majormusic event in The Square on Saturday 16th in advance of the paradeon the Sunday.

The details were revealed at the launch of the parade which took place on Monday at Down the Hatch. On the Good Morning Roscommon programme there was a special report on that launch with contributions from Inspector David Cryan of Roscommon Gardai, Councillor Joe Murphy Chairman of Roscommon County Council, and first we hear from the Chairman of the Roscommon Town Easter Parade Committee Larry Brennan.
