On this week's Today with Adrianne Murphy, Hugh O’Donoghue, Alzheimer's Society of Ireland’s Communications Officer discusses the theme of this year’s Alzheimer’s Month ‘Time to Act’ and how the public can get involved in helping this awareness campaign. World Alzheimer's Day, part of Alzheimer's Month, is observed every year on the 21st of September, with the objective of creating awareness about the misconception of Dementia and Alzheimer's, and to encourage and support the families of Alzheimer-affected patients to tackle and fight it.
