After this weeks’ budget is it now certain that we will have a General Election coming soon. Emmett Corcoran has been assessing the political situation in the wake of yesterday’s announcements.

Budget 2025 has been generally welcomed as the government has been outlining how they will be putting 10.2 billion Euro into the economy over the next 12 months, However Roscommon-Galway TD Dennis Naughten says that it’s a missed opportunity as far as midland and western counties are concerned.

There have been changes at the top of the organisation that looks after Community Radio in Ireland CRAOL and a familiar voice to RosFM former volunteer Deirdre Hunt is now the project co-ordinator. She has been telling Good Morning Roscommon what her job entails.

With crime rates rising in Roscommon there is rising anger in the county and local Councillor Tony Waldron organised a public rally in Castlerea last Sunday and there were 200 present. He has been telling Seamus Duke about the rally and why it was organised.
