A new organisation called The Farmers Alliance was established following a very well attended public meeting held in Athlone last Sunday. Seamus Duke has been talking to one of the organisers George O'Malley about what happened on the day and what the future plans of the organisation are.

There is rising excitement in Roscommon and Galway ahead of Sunday's Connacht SFC semi-final between the two counties at Dr Hyde Park. Seamus Duke has been talking to John O'Mahony who managed Galway to win two All Ireland titles in 1998 and 2001 about Sunday's match.
