 In our weekly History segment historian Gerry Shannon continues his look at the history of Roscommon Town on the Good Morning Roscommon programme.

 The All Ireland senior football final between Dublin and Kerry was a very intense affair with Dublin coming out on top by two points- meanwhile the Roscommon football championships begin this weekend. Ian Cooney the sports editor of the Roscommon Herald has been looking back at last Sunday's final and forward to next weekends' championship games.
