Sunflower Children’s Hospice/Big Brave Cut – The Today Show 20/07/26
Two young sisters from Strokestown, County Roscommon, Róisín (8) and Cara (6), daughters of Noel and Edel Doherty, have taken part in The Big Brave Cut, a new fundraising initiative supporting the building for the new Sunflower Children’s Hospice, which is to be built in County Mayo. By taking part in The Big Brave Cut, Róisín and Cara are making a meaningful difference to not one, but two worthy causes, creating a wig for a child in need, while also raising vital funds for children and families who will benefit from the Sunflower Children’s Hospice. The brave sisters donated an impressive 12 inches of hair each and this is not the first time they have done this. Adrianne was delighted to get to chat with the entire Doherty family to and got to see these amazing little girls up very close on zoom.
