Epilepsy Ireland Song TIME, SAFE, STAY aims to boost seizure first aid, and awareness of the condition, which affects an estimated 755 people in Roscommon. The song clearly identifies what to do when you see someone having a seizure, you should TIME it (only call an ambulance at 5 minutes), make sure they are SAFE and STAY with them. Epilepsy Ireland, Advocacy & Communications Manager, Paddy Mc Geoghegan speaks here with Adrianne about the myths around epilepsy and explains that people with the condition can live a normal seizure free life if they are given the correct medication. He also tells of the supports that Epilepsy Ireland provide and how people in Roscommon can access information and supports on their website http://www.epilepsy.ie or by calling their Head Office on (01) 4557500 and asking for Catherine Caffrey, who is the Roscommon representative.
