  • The AGM of Ballaghaderreen Community Games will take place upstairs in Durkins on Wednesday, October 8th at 8pm. New members welcome.
  • The next meeting of Williamstown Heritage Society takes place on Thursday, October 9th.
  • A meeting in relation to petrol stretching will take place in the Tulsk Inn on Thursday, October 9th at 7.30pm. All welcome.
  • The AGM of the Hawthorn Drive Residents Association will take place in Hannon’s Hotel, Roscommon on Thursday, October 9th at 8.30pm. All residents are invited to attend.
  • Feile Strokestown takes place from Friday, October 10th until Sunday, October 12th.
  • Sligo Cancer Support Centre Presents its annual Fashion Show in the Clarion Hotel, Sligo on Friday, October 10th. For more information call 071 917 0399.
  • Castlerea Mental Health Association and Trinity Arts Centre will host a ‘Celebrating the Light’ to mark Mental Health Day on Friday, October 10th at 8pm.
  • Registration night for Kilmore Foróige takes place in Kilmore Community Centre on Friday, October 10th at 8pm. Parents must be accompany children in order to register. Foróige is open to secondary school students from 12-18 years of age.
  • A table quiz organised by Castlerea Lower Main Street Traders will take place in McGourty’s, Castlerea on Friday, October 10th at 8.30pm. Table of five, €50.
  • DARA Kilglass are holding a table quiz in the Weir Lodge on Friday, October 10th at 9pm. Table of four, €40. Raffle on the night.

  • The Kilronan mountain challenge 10k walk or run will take place starting from Arigna on Sunday, October 12th at 2pm. Registration from 1.30pm.

  • The AGM of Boyle Camera Club takes place in St. Joseph’s Resource Centre on Tuesday, October 14th at 8pm.
  • There will be a social dance in Kilteevan Community Centre on Friday, October 17th. Dancing from 10pm to 12.30am. Admission €10. Proceeds in aid of the centre.
