ICSA highly critical of Teagasc Athenry suckler project

ISCA suckler chairman Dermot Kelleher expresses severe reservations about Teagasc setting up a research suckler heard at their Athenry Centre. Mr. Kelleher cites among many things, the quality of the Athenry land, unrealistic compared to most suckler farms and also the fact that it seems to be ignoring the production of export grade weanlings which are a common type produced by many west of Ireland suckler farmers.
