Community Hour brings you all the latest community notes and news on recent and upcoming events along with interviews with individuals and groups in the locality.

This week Niamh is joined by PRO with the RSPCA Paul O’Sullivan to discuss local and national news as well as the RSPCA’s Free Educational Programme for schools to highlight the work of the RSPCA and also to raise awareness of animal rights.

Niamh also chats to Corporate Brand Manager with Bord Na Móna, Sara Byrne about the Eco Rangers Programme, a schools initiative for primary schools to get children outdoors and interested in nature.There are 9 primary schools in Co. Roscommon currently involved in the programme.

Finally, Niamh talks to Computer Tutor with Irish Rural Link, Paul Derrig about the upcoming Free Agfood Training course in Computers for Farmers, who are looking to upskill and embrace technology, that will be running in the RWN Training Service, in the Old Mill, in Castlerea.
