LEONARD'S VINTAGE VINYL'S SHOW
The programme is precisely what it's called, and has not missed a single
week since RosFm commenced broadcasting in January 2005. In March 2005,
'Vintage Vinyl's' became the first programme to gain sponsorship at the
station. Recently, the Percy French Hotel - Strokestown has taken over the
sponsorship of Vintage Vinyl's for the next year. I like to think 'Vintage
Vinyl's' is unique and something more than just another so-called oldies
show. |
| As I have stated
many times, anybody can play a few by-gone tracks, but to present
this kind of programme with any commitment takes a great deal of knowledge
and experience of having lived and breathed music and music radio! Above
all, I possess a deep love for the subject. On Vintage Vinyls, I re-create
the sound and feel of the era, when the records I play were contemporary and
heard on medium wave the first time around. I was there, living and
breathing every moment of it! |
