Hello. My name is Patricia Gately, or Trish as I'm more commonly called, and I'm in charge of the 'PLAYGROUND' programme. I have been working in RosFm on various projects for the past three years which has led to my own programme 'PLAYGROUND'. The reason I do the show is because I have a great relationship with children. I love working with them because they are always so honest and never shy to say exactly  what they think. 'PLAYGROUND' is based on children. Each week I travel to a different school within the county and I chat and have a laugh with the pupils. I get great pleasure in going to all the schools every week

PLAYGROUND airs on Thursdays between 6:30pm-7:00pm

It makes my day to see a smile on their faces. They enjoy singing songs and they get a chance to say hello to their parents at home. I particularly like the junior infants as they are so cute and innocent. It also gives a great chance for the parents to hear their kids on the radio....
